Kassidy and Tyler's Wedding

It was the weekend of the weddings!  First we celebrated with my sister Kassidy and her new husband Tyler with a beautiful sealing ceremony in the Twin Falls Temple.  Following they had a gorgeous reception at the Stone House in Twin Falls.  Kassidy had subtle Harry Potter accents as she is a HP nerd and the most gorgeous wedding colors!  You could just see the love that radiated between these two.  It was such a beautiful event to witness.

I wish we had gotten a better photo of Koa's Mauruder's map tie.

The Harry Potter Touches.  Candy, wands, lanterns.  It was so beautiful!

Her cake topper was made by one of her friends as a bridal shower gift.

I just adore my brother.  I hope my own children can find the same love of music and learn to love to sing and play an instrument as he does.  He sang the new couple a beautiful acoustic song.

I can't begin to explain how precious and special this littler performance was.  Ely worked so hard to be able to present this little solo.  The costume she is wearing was once Kassidy's when she was a toddler in ballet class.  Ely danced to Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter, and was Hedwig the owl.  She was a little nervous, but mustered up more bravery than I ever could as a four year old.  She completed her entire dance and performed beautifully.  I had a gentleman tell me afterwards that he didn't know the bride or the groom and that his wife was a college professor of Kassidy's, and that Ely's performance made his entire night and was one of the most precious things he had ever seen.

This venue was beyond gorgeous and reminded me of an elegant 3 Broomsticks in Hogsmeade from Harry Potter.  So perfect for my sister.

I love this picture.  It is a circle of the women in Ely's family an Aunt on her Ahern side, an Aunt on the Norman's side, and her cousin Ember.

And this is what love does.... it brings us together and allows us to celebrate with each other.
